You guys were spell-binding. Heard you on 29 Dec in Hobart and loved every minute. Love your arrangements, team-work, sense of fun, absolutely all of it! I have some years of hand-drumming experience so I'm always keen on hearing drums of any sort, but your performances just blew my mind. Another reason why I want to move to Tassie! Thanks to all of you from a grateful New South mainlander.

MISSION DEBRIEF...
Hello Wadaiko-warriors!
Sources in Hobart have passed on some fabulous feedback about the recent concert held @ The Long Gallery. Apparently Art was spell-binding spectacular and Taiko Drum were on fire! The energy in the room was electrifying, really blowing the audience away! Some believed it to be one of Taiko Drum's best performances! Well done for lifting the roof of the Long Gallery guys!

Hello Taiko Chan
Hope you guys had a wonderful Christmas and New Year!
I've been super busy working and creating sexy Samba beats across Melbourne . I still plan to start up a Taiko group here in Melbourne and re-vamp 'Tane' so it can be played by a smaller group - all in good time.
I have been priveleged to see a little of the awesome stuff that some of you have been working on with Joshu - I was blown away! Fabulous work guys.
For those of you I have not been able to get in contact with, I would love to hear what you have been up to.
For now, stay safe and play hard
Lara xx

Taiko is much more than a series of rhythmic sounds produced by the powerful impact of wood onto skin. The incredible sound, striking uniforms, and visual feast of stylized movements that so captivate audiences across the globe are important aspects of this style of percussion - but they represent only the tip of the core-invigorating iceberg that is Taiko.

Sweden! A Europe tour - now there's a thought! With how far we've come since those plastic buckets I'd say anything's possible in the future
I just wanted to say to everyone at the Hutchins perfomance last night, we looked and sounded FANTASTIC!!! If Simon were there to see us he'd have been so proud!! Especially Zoku and Yatai, my mum managed to get a small snippet of a video clip of yatai on my digital camera when we're all playing, it looks awesome! And Zoku was just so 'crisp' as someone put it, and the backbeat sounded great with the smooth crescendos, just like Nabe had tried to teach us for ages!! haha. We made quite an impact. Good job guys!!
