Wadaikoart concert
- plus workshops with Taiko Master Art Lee -
January 2007

TUUTS brought Art Lee back to Australia for some intensive taiko workshops to improve our skills and appreciation for the diversity of Taiko in January and February 2007. This is the second year of what we hope will become an annual event, bringing together people in mutual celebration of the pounding rhythms of taiko.

The course culminated in a concert on 5 Feb.

Art Lee is winner of the of the
Tokyo International
Taiko Solo Contest,
Odaiko section
(that's the big drum - see
Japanese newspaper article),
and the only non-Japanese professional taiko
artist working in Japan.
